Now Employed!

Good news, everyone! I was hired to work at Paramount Canada's Wonderland last Wednesday in their Food Services department, and I am quite estatic to be starting work this Friday. :P I will be working at their Manchu Wok, so come visit me! D:<

Discovery!

I am currently studying for exam 4/5. I can't wait to go back home to fast internet! :DDD My life so far...is so-so. My roomate and her friends are so annoying to the point I basically "moved out" of my room into my friend's room upstairs. I took my sleeping bag, extra pillow, and my piles of work with me, and the only time I go back to my room is to brush my teeth, shower, take my meds or get stuff. :/

I am kinda procrastinating from my studies right now...hence being on the internet. After 3 INTENSE days of studying, I can't fall asleep because random Biology terms or Chemistry stuff keeps popping up in my head, which causes me to keep thinking about them.

Today, I discovered the Mozilla Firefox persona thing, where you get to customize the search part with a design of your choice. I kept changing and changing it, and finally decided to stick with a really cute Saki design. I will end this post here since my friend wants to use my computer to watch the Hockey game.

Kso, I haven't written a post in like...forever. My apologies. School has been hectic lately, and I was spending my free time at home hanging out with my friends at the mall (singing K :P) and playing Mabinogi...OTL For those of you who play, thou must add me! Shiirin and Shirin, Tarlach server. And for those of you who do not play...THOU MUST PLAY! >8D

So exams are coming up. School ended officially for me as of last night. 5 more days until my 1st 2 exams. Two on the same day. Chemistry then English. Both 3 hours. Death. Needs lots and lots of studying. Thank god those two aren't 4 hours each like my Business exam is...T_T;;

Must go make self toast then go study...then practise piano for tonight's choir concert. ;-; So much to doo! Peace~

Blah. I finished watching Maria Holic (yesterday, I believe). The ending was...quite suprising, both in its sudden approach and content. My friends didn't like it since they think that it's "incomplete" (which it is), but I thought it was quite amusing and entertaining. Very different than your regular "happy ending" or "sad ending" anime. :)

I'm starting to watch 2x2 Shinobuden again, and trying to finish episodes 11 and 12 (which I have left off before 2nd semester started). I have also downloaded Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de, Kanamemo, Binbou Shimai Monogatari, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nonoha and Kagihime Monogatari Eikyuu Alice Rondo. So far my Kanamemo episodes are not behaving well, since the subs do not show up after I convert my .mkv file into .mp4. *Sad*. That would mean that I cannot put Kanamemo onto my iPod. D:

School work wise...I think I am slacking a lot. Especially since I decided to re-join Mabinogi after being hacked about 4 months ago. For once I am thankful for a slow internet, since it prevents me from playing Mabinogi, making it lag like hell, but not thankful for a slow internet in terms of anime downloading. Either way, I need to get my act together and do school work first! That way I can make time for watching anime during the weekend!

Maria Holic

So I met my friend Jenny's new roomate and she's totally awesome! Today we took her around campus to show her around and bought her a doughnut. It was her first doughnut! *Happy* =w=

Work wise...I haven't gotten any done *FAIL* since I've been insanely downloading anime and watching them. I started watching Maria Holic (since I finished K-ON!), and it is TOTALLY AWESOME, and I would recommend it to everyone. It's a really upbeat anime that is comical, entertaining, beautiful characters, playful plot twist, and probably the best anime I've seen since Saki.

I won't go into details on the plot since you can just look it up on Wikipedia. But I will supply some screenshots.

Skating, Rants, Weekend

So I went skating 2 days ago, and it was an awesome night filled with icy fun! :DD Although I got a bruise on each of my ankles, it was well worth it. I haven't skate for years, and this was the second time skating; I must say that I skate pretty well for a second timer. *Self praise*. Although to compare to rollerblading, I prefer rollerblading much more, since skating is just in an ice rink whereas rollerblading can be done outside in the sunlight, fresh air, and betwix the fields of flowers...

So anyway, rant time. My roomate and her friend (on the same floor) kept taking my stuff. Awhile ago, my roomate snapped my hole punch in half, and replied with "well, it wasn't broken when I used it"; well smart ass, guess what? IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN BROKEN IF YOUR STUPID HANDS DIDN'T TOUCH IT. The very next day, I see a can of my cranberry soda under her freaking bed; clearly a stealer move. So I told my RA (residence assistant) about it and she talked to my roomate about it "don't touch her stuff, blah blah", and nothing bad happened to my roomate, much to my disappointment.

Just rencently - and I'm talking the past 4 days - I found out that SOMEONE has been taking my stuff again, because clearly, gum does not disappear on its own. So I counted (to make sure I wasn't hallucinating) the number of pieces in my gum box, and left it out for another day (without taking any for myself) to see if any pieces would go missing again. The day after, it happened again. Another piece went missing, and I figured that there's been someone taking/touching my stuff AGAIN. Although this time, I personally think it wasn't my roomate, but her annoying friend, who on Tuesday (I think), came by chewing gum loudly on my roomate's bed. So my conclusion is, that her friend has been taking my stuff, perhaps even without my roomate knowing, since she just waltzs into our room even when none of us are there; my roomate NEVER freaking locks the door. And so today, I was looking for my frilled Esprit tank top, but it was not there. The first thought was I had misplaced it, but I only ever hang it on one hook - with all my other tank tops. So I searched my entire closet for it, and it was most definitely not there. I had only ever worn it once in the past 4 months, and to have it suddenly go missing is suspiciously strange. I do not like to make random assumptions, but I must assume that there has been someone going through my closet. I am NOT happy about this, and I don't have proof of who took it.

On top of all that, my roomate is becoming more and more of a bitch each day. Last night she went drinking at some club with her friends, which was fine since I couldn't care less whatever the hell she did to her body. BUT, to come back at 4AM in the fucking morning smelling like shit, and calling her friends from Guelph annoyed the hell out of me. I mean, coming back at 4AM is one thing, BUT WHO THE HELL TALKS ON THE PHONE AT 4AM IN THE MORNING WHEN THEIR ROOMATE IS CLEARLY SLEEPING?! =____=''

I really felt the need to share this, because clearly telling the RA about it isn't helping, and people like my roomate is too much of an ass to realize that their actions negatively affect others. Aside from all my rants, my parents' friend should be coming to London tomorrow to take me to see her Dentist, which she said was very good. This is good news to me since my current Dentist back at home sucks at doing fillings, and I need to do some more fillings since I developed more cavities. ): I don't like cavities...

My friend upstairs is getting a new roomate today, since her old roomate moved out about a month and a half ago. However, my friend is not here to greet her new roomate since she's gone to Waterloo to celebrate her cousin's birthday. Hopefully I'll be assertive enough to walk up to her room and greet/befriend her new roomate. :D I am hoping for a good and productive (but fun) weekend! *Trying very hard to be optimistic*.

A Long Day...

Today was the first day of second semester Bio, I was pretty excited! It turned out that my Biology professor, Mr. Butler, turned out to be a very interesting man. He's a 61 year old researcher teaching part time, and he's particularily fond of making students understand the importance of microbiology, and won't mind giving out good marks - or so he says. I guess I'll find out whether that's true or not a bit later into the course, but Bio turned out to be pretty awesome!

So today during Business class I felt totally unprepared since I didn't realize we had operations questions to do, so I was mainly going "huh?" for most of the class, which is totally unlike me, since I would usually spew up a few answers. But I'm back in the game now, and I'm starting next week's work. :)

My friend Jenny helped make my iTunes work for my iPod again (it can actually sync now!), so I'm downloading animes like mad and using Videora Converter to get them into MP4 format so I can watch them on my iPod. Yay!

So after watching a few episodes of K-ON! (currently on episode 12), the new member of K-ON! (Azusa) turned out to look almost exactly the same as Mio except much cuter. Mio is like her big sister in my mind. :P

Second Semester

So I'm back at rez now...the drive here was like hell. Out of all the days of Christmas break, Mr. Winter decides to shower us with snow on the day I have to go back. Dammit. Oh well, at least I'm back now and all pumped up to go for second semester (except English, which is going to be hell).

My second semester courses:

1. Chemistry
2. English
3. Biology
4. Business
5. Foods and Nutrition

Everything except Biology is a continuation of 1st semester.

Okay anywhoo, that was completely random, but I felt the need to spice up this post with something colourful, so there you go. :D I'm puting episodes 10~12 of 2x2 Shinobuden on hold, since school's starting again tomorrow and I'm totally addicted to K-ON!. So expect (lots of) Mio screenshots in the next few posts. Mio's my favourite character, since she has many moé points, long black hair, and gentle eyes. <333 Sawako-Sensei is my second fav. :D

First Post!

I realize that I joined awhile ago, since my friend Joy told me to make a blog about my journey to becoming a Registered Dietitian (R.D.). However...I haven't actually made a post until now, so my apologies. XD

Today is the last day of my Winter break before I have to go back to school...where I shall once again be bombarded with mountains of work and stress. But it's very well worth it, considering the 4 month Summer vacation and another step closer to becoming an R.D.! So anyway, I had a pretty relaxing holiday; got to spend a lot of time with my family, went to a lot of check-ups and appointments, not to mention being a chauffeur to almost every one of my grandma's 10 accupuncture appointments... I got some work done as well; reading ahead for Business, finished next Thursday's Chemisty pre-lab, and totally procrastinating on English (which I should NOT have taken as my elective).

So aside from all that, I also blew through a lot of anime this holiday season. I managed to finish Kampfer, To Aru Majutsu no Index, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, Saki, AIKa R-16, Sasameki Koto, Aoi Hana, Kashimashi ~Girl Meets Girl~, and on my way to finishing 2x2 Shinobuden (currently on ep. 8) and K-ON! (currently on ep. 4). This does seem like a lot now that I listed everything...but the amount of time spent on anime after I go back will drastically drop to near zilch, so I took full advantage of the holidays to watch as much anime as I can stuff in. >8D Ohohoho!

Once I get used to this blogging business and have some settings figured out, I'll start posting random pics/screenshots that I took/will take throughout the year, or parts of an anime that I particularly enjoyed to spice up my blogs (but I don't know how as of the moment).
